Differentiated cut-and-paste activity covers calculating percent of change for given values. Both sheets include decimals and students must round their final answer to the hundredth place. The first activity is easier with students given “Original” and “New” values. The second activity is word problems. This is a great activity for students to practice calculating percent of change with a partner, in a small group, as part of review stations, or individually. Students should cut out all the pieces, match them with the correct answer, and glue the sets onto construction paper or notebook paper. Each activity has a total of nine problems for students to work on. A blank worksheet for pasting all nine questions and answers is also included. The worksheet could also be cut into three strips if students are working together to solve.
