This Google Slides activity will give your students a chance to practice finding percent of a number using mental math. Students move digital number tiles next to the problem whose solution they represent. They must figure out which number is the “Odd Man Out” by working through the problems, and seeing which tile is left. All of the problems have an answer between 0-9, and one number doesn’t get used….the “Odd Man Out”. This resource contains 6 separate files (2 sets of Odd Man Out activities, and each set has three different levels to help you differentiate for your class). These percent of a number questions were designed to help students develop number sense, so students don’t even need calculators for this activity.
When you purchase this resource, you will receive a pdf teacher's guide that has links to make copies of the student activities. Both you and your students will need Google accounts in order to use this activity.
