Kids love to get out of their seats and move around. This is a fun activity that allows them to do just that and still work on math.
How to play: Hang all the posters in random order around the room (sometimes I even try to hide the posters- under desks, hang from the ceiling, behind chairs- this is so much fun!). Students either work alone or with a partner and start with any poster. They solve the question on that poster and then look for the answer they found (which is on a different poster somewhere in the room). When they find the answer they were looking for, they then solve the question from that poster and so on and so forth. (The answers to each poster are not on the same poster- they have to go searching for the answer on the top of a different poster)
A worked out answer key is included. It is important the students check their answers (otherwise they might be hunting for the wrong number).
The questions are all percentage problems of varying difficulty (I like everyone to feel success). There are 20 posters, 11 of these are word problems
