Product Description
Have some Easter fun with percents!

For this activity, you will need 50 plastic Easter eggs. Included in the PDF are 50 math questions about percents. They include the following five types of questions:

- calculating percent (ex. What is 40% of 64?)
- figuring out the percent (ex. What percent of 30 is 15?)
- converting fractions to percents (ex. Write the fraction 13/20 as a percent.)
- converting percents to fractions (ex. Write 84% as a fraction in its simplest form.)
- word problems (You have 12 donuts and you eat 3 of them. What percent of the donuts did you eat?)

Here's how it works:

Cut out the problems into slips of paper and place them inside the eggs. Students then have to hunt for 10 eggs. Once found, they must copy down each problem onto their worksheet and solve them.

If you don't want to do it as a hunt, you could simply give each student a number of eggs to open. This would allow you to evenly distribute the types of questions they receive.

I used this as a group activity, where each group hunted for 10 eggs and completed the worksheet together.

Enjoy! :)
