This is an editable Powerpoint file (so you must have Powerpoint or a program that will allow you to open and edit a Powerpoint file) for you to insert a text box with the names of your students who have been in class every day for that month. Then print, hang up, and recognize those students for their attendance achievement!
My administration are huge proponents of attendance, so this is something I created and use in my classroom as a simple incentive for getting students to come to school/rewarding those who do.
There are 2 different clipart designs for each month, each with a black and white and color version (so 4 per month). You could decide to do all color, all B&W, or a mix of both! I glue mine onto construction paper and then hang it up to make it stand out a bit more.
You can choose to give a reward each month to those students who earned perfect attendance (a colorful pencil with an eraser, a certificate, a piece of candy- whatever you choose!). I don’t give my students anything, though- they love the recognition and clapping from other students when their name is read and up on the door.
