In this packet, you will find 5 versions of a perfect squares quiz. There are two of the same version of the quiz on each page to save on printing and copying.
In the first four versions, I have randomly chosen 12 of the first 25 perfect squares for the students to be tested on.
In the 5th version, I have chosen the first 12 perfect squares to be on the quiz. (The 12 squares are not in numerical order – they are mixed up.) This version could be used to help differentiate among the students if necessary.
I believe that memorizing the perfect squares helps especially in geometry class. Students must work frequently with right triangles, and knowing the perfect squares sometimes saves some calculator work.
An answer key is included for all versions.
