I feel like this is one concept my kiddos always struggle with. This packet includes several different elements to hopefully pull it all together for you!
~ 4 Posters w/ 2 different printing and color options (one set is ideal for grayscale printing)
*Past Perfect, Present Perfect, Future Perfect, Simple vs Perfect
~3 homework sheets w/ answer keys. Students will work on converting verbs to the perfect tense, and also create their own sentences
~Book hunt activity -- have students browse through your class library and look for examples of perfect tense verbs in books (**note that kids typically assume when they see the words have, had, has, will have it automatically means it is perfect tense)
~Draw a verb -- students draw a verb, convert it to past tense, then create 3 perfect tense sentences
~Quiz reviewing past, present, and future perfect tense w/ answer key
