This is a simple worksheet that you can either print separately or back to back!
On the first side, students choose three objects to measure on their own and then they must calculate the area and perimeter of each. In my own classroom, I had my students first choose two items and then took them outside to find the third. This worksheet can be used anywhere around the school!
On the second side, students must read a story about a girl who has been practicing for her championship soccer game. There are four questions to answer about the area and perimeter of the field and the goal. Students must be able to pull out the important information in order to solve these problems. This side is a challenge for some students!
This could be used as a Guided Math Center.
