This set of 6 story problems focuses on the concept of perimeter and area. Students are asked to find the perimeter or area, after reading a story problem. Students are also asked to write an equation, as well as to draw a picture to go along with the problem on a grid that is included on the page.
Also included is a problem solving strategy called CUBES. This is given in the form of a notebook page that students can place into their interactive math notebooks.
