I created a 3rd set of perimeter and area word problems that include mixed number measurements. I wanted a way to connect what we have learned about perimeter and area to what we are learning about mixed numbers. Students will have to add mixed numbers and answer higher order thinking questions related to given scenarios. the first 4 questions relate to the first scenario. There are 6 total questions. Students must draw a model, use the algorithm and explain why it is a measurement of perimeter, area or length.
