1 problem requires students to find the perimeter and area of two rectangles. Students find that they have the same area.
The next problem asks students to write about how these two rectangles could have the same area, even though they have different lengths and widths.
The last problem involves a complex figure composed of two rectangles. Students are asked for the perimeter and area. They are required to decompose the figure and determine two missing side lengths based on measurements given.
