Product Description
Students are presented with 30 different pairs of substances; only one substance of each pair is an element. This activity requires students to peruse the Periodic Table to determine which of the paired substances are elements. Students then circle each element, write the chemical symbol, indicate the state of matter, and classify it as either a metal non-metal, or metalloid. Beginning chemistry students really enjoy the success that comes with this original, user friendly activity.
