Much like the memory game played by small children, this memory game over the periodic table will allow students to practice trends found in the periodic table, such as periods vs. groups, energy levels in relation to periods, valence electrons in relation to groups, locations of elements based on their properties, increasing atomic mass from top to bottom, and special families. Students will have to flip two cards over and then analyze the information on each card to decide if they match. Points are earned for matches made and once a match is made, it is taken out of the board. Instructions for playing are included in the download. This is best printed in landscape form with 4 slides on a page.
