Periodic Table Practice Drills are great to use after students are introduced to the organization of the periodic table. The Periodic Table Practice Drills provide students with practice in interpreting the organization in terms of atomic structure, location of elements based on periods and groups, and the purpose of the stair step line. I have used the Periodic Table Practice Drills in my own classroom for years. By the time that students finish the drills, they will have a thorough understanding of the organization of the Periodic Table and how to interpret it.
There are two versions of each drill. Version A allows students to search for the information about each element by element name. Version B is more challenging and gives students the opportunity to locate elements using the element name, symbol, period and group (location), atomic number, number of protons, or number of electrons.
There are also two printing options included; a full page option and a 2 to a page option to save paper and ink.
Included: 4 different practice drills, quiz, and test. All drills, quiz, and the test are in the same format.
