This is a great activity to follow up a video, powerpoint, or quick discussion on the following topics covering the Periodic Table. It's best for a General Chemistry class.
I put the students to work on this in pairs and then move around the class assisting students and questioning. I like to allow groups to correct their work using a key and hold a class discussion about which concepts were difficult/confusing and explain or encourage students who understand to explain in their own words.
