This is an assessment I use after teaching about the Periodic Table of Elements. The test is composed of multiple choice, short answer, and an essay question. There are 59 questions on this test.
Students will answer multiple choice questions about the periodic table and its organization, scientists who discovered particles, and reactivity. There are two tables in which students will determine the number of protons, electrons, neutrons, atomic mass or atomic number, state of matter, and type of element. Students will draw two Bohr diagrams and complete one essay question.
