This is a very straightforward test on the Periodic Table. There are 22 multiple choice questions which primarily focus on how to use the Periodic Table, such as finding the atomic number, the atomic mass, number of protons, number of neutrons, and the basic parts of an atom. There are just a few questions about the basics of families (periods) and rows - not specific information about them, just that elements in the same period would have the same properties. There are 3 open response questions.
The test is 2 pages long (1 page front/back) with an additional 2-sided answer sheet. You only have to make one class set of test question papers and then reuse them class to class, as it is only necessary for the students to write on their answer sheet.
