    Description

A student friendly, periodic table friendly, non-traditional approach to the introduction of the periodic table.

Students will discover elements named for scientists, reveal Latin names for older elements, identify elements in chemical formulas, find atomic numbers, uncover fun historical facts, brush up on ordered pairs, learn some Morse code, discover the genetic code, learn to find the location of elements on the table quickly, begin to identify elements by their chemical symbols.....AND.....oh yes.....LEARN.

All in the name of science!

This bundle covers ALL elements, from 1 to 118 and is best used as an introductory activity - before you start teaching the Periodic Table.

Group students together…distribute scavenger hunt puzzles....distribute periodic tables…challenge students to challenge each other then --- sit back --- catch your breath --- and watch the AWESOMENESS unfold!

A truly FUN and ENGAGING set of activities that will most certainly leave a PeRiOdIC impression on the minds of your students !!! One of my favorites!

    Excellent for sub plans.

**Two new puzzles added March & April 2018**
