This is a worksheet to use with my music video "Perpendicular" on YouTube from my channel "mrsteffessongs" which is a musical parody talking about concepts related to perpendicular lines. It is aligned to both 4th grade and high school geometry standards. The answer key is included.
The worksheet contains a fill-in-the-blank vocabulary section from words sung in the video (with a word bank) and then three sections of activities or examples based on Common Core Standards involving "perpendicular". The first activity is simply drawing parallel and perpendicular lines. The second activity is identifying parallel and perpendicular lines in shapes. The last section develops a high-school understanding of how slopes of parallel and perpendicular lines are related.
This worksheet can be used as extra credit or as notes for geometry students as review or used as homework or notes to introduce the topic.
