The Persepolis unit plan consists of seven days and lesson plans. We use the block schedule so each lesson is approximately 80 minutes long, give or take depending on outside factors. Both formative and summative assessments, as well as reflection, will be key components in the teaching of the unit, as it is a vital element of culturally responsive standards-based teaching. The key in implementing these assessments and reflections are their authenticity. The seven lesson plans are laid out below, with specific objectives, essential questions, tentative agenda, activities, assessments and times explicitly conveyed.
The appendix must be bought separately.
