Product Description
This lesson uses a superhero theme to teach students what traits help our superheros to overcome the hardship of battling evil to overcome and succeed. This is a short unit consisting of 4 lessons which teach students how others can persevere and overcome difficulty. In the end older students create a comic strip or a children's book using a superhero they created by listing character traits and developing a crisis his/her superhero must face, fail, and learn to succeed. This lesson could also be developed as a creative writing assignment in which students could learn how to develop characters and place them into a storyline.
