In this highly-engaging Persian Wars lesson, students become investigative journalists as they uncover the history of the Persian Wars and their impact on Ancient Greece. Students read a secondary source account of the Persian Wars and complete several "check-in's" along the way as they uncover the story. Finally, students create a news story where their manager, Herodotus, has ordered them to compile an article on the Persian Wars!
This is great compliment to the Persian Wars and Ancient Greece - or a great activity to include as a study on just the Persian Empire!
Tons of fun!
