PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This is Unit 3 of Reading Through History's Personal Finance course. In this unit, checks and debit cards are discussed, along with various forms of saving and investing, including bonds, mutual funds, and stocks. Each lesson (broken into two) contains a two page reading describing the material in a clear and straightforward manner. The material is followed by reading comprehension questions, vocabulary activities, a guided reading activity, student summaries, and a student response essay question. This material was created due to a severe lack of content available to us in our classrooms. We are sharing it here, as we are certain other teachers tasked with teaching financial literacy or personal finance are bound to find it useful.
