Help your students apply what you have taught them about financial institutions (banks and credit unions) and which of their available local options might be best for them to pursue based on their situation. This tool guides your students through a group work experience where each group identifies key components of their assigned or chosen institution. Students can either use the Internet or make phone calls to learn about the products and resources provided by these institutions. Their research is compiled into a display on a poster and displayed in a gallery format around the classroom. Students then work individually to answer reflective questions and draw conclusions based on the information gathered by their classmates. Worksheets are provided for the group work and for the individual reflection.
