This document features two personal narrative graphic organizers.
The first graphic organizer is to be used when teaching your students how to write a personal narrative. The graphic organizer teaches students how to structure a topic sentence by using descriptive words or adjectives. This also helps your students learn how to hook their audience into their story. The graphic organizer explains rising action, climax, and falling action. The graphic organizer also teaches your students that a closing sentence usually includes a moral (how you felt or what you learned) as a result of their experience. All of these elements are in kid friendly language.
The second graphic organizer is intended to push your higher writers to include more details and/or dialogue in their personal narrative.
(Update: There is actually a total of 3 different versions attached to help better fit your needs.)
