This is a great, interactive way to get students talking about the books they have read. One way to use this is at the end of a book club or literature circle unit in which students share their book reviews/projects in a gallery walk, or students can simply share their reading experience from their seat, and students can write down the titles that intrigue them. This also gives students a chance to reflect on their reading experience with you, and a chance to keep in touch as they move on to different classes and on into the future. It is a great way to end the year--interactive, fun, and it connects all of the reading you have to the reading they could do! "A reader lives a thousand lives" as George R. R. Martin says.
