Have you been studying state or national symbols? Then extend your students learning by having them develop personal symbols that represent themselves.
Students decide which flower, color, bird, animal, or song represents them, then draw and write describing why it signifies them. They can also draw their own personal flag and explain why their design represents who they are.
Also included is a blank template for adding other types of symbols.
Pick and choose which pages work best for your students and compile in any order.
