Each year my students get a personal word wall that they keep at their desk. This helps them during writing so that they don't have to get up and walk to our word wall to find a word.
Any time a student asks me how to spell a word, they know they have to have their book out and ready to write the word in it. This way they don't have to ask all the time how to spell the same word.
We also add each student's name into the book so that they can write to or about that person without having to ask them how to spell their name (or walk to a chart in the class to find it).
I have pre-typed in some common fifth grade word wall words and included blank lines for students to add their own words. If you think students will need more room for words and you want them to have lines to write on, I also included a lined page that you can run on the back of the alphabet pages.
I have included an editable version so that you can add your own words. It will also solve some printing issues that I noticed. Some printers will not print the PDF evenly. Please print ONE page from the PDF and cut it on the line to see if it is even. If not, print directly from the PowerPoint.
**The thumbnails show that there are 2 consecutive letters on a page. This file is not made to be run front to back.**
