This Learning Theories PowerPoint is excellent to use with various levels of psychology students--including regular level, honors, AP, and college leve--when studying Classical Conditioning, Operant Conditioning, and Cognitive Learning.
3 groups of learning are described in separate / appropriate sections. For each theorist, a brief (one-slide) background on the person is given, explanation of their experiment, a visualization (usually a video and a picture) are presented. Additionally, each theorist is a color (ex: Red for Pavlov) for students to easily remember and recall the information. Additionally, homework assignments are provided for each of the 3 types of learning.
Classical Conditioning is explained in detail (defintion, process, and vocabulary) and major theorists--including Pavlov, Watson, Wolpe, and Garcia.
Operant Conditioning is explained (definition, reinforcements, punishments) and major theorists--including B.F. Skinner, E.L. Thorndike.
Cognitive Learning is described and major theorists--Bandura, Kohler.
This 46 slide PowerPoint includes the definition of learning, a table of contents (which links directly to that part in the PowerPoint), in addition to each slide having citations in the note section for the information and pictures.
