Personification Poem - Creative Writing Assignment

Grade 4-9: Students apply their understanding of personification by writing in the voice of an object that they bring to life.
In this simple, but creative assignment - set up on a one page handout - students select an object to become and then they write a poem in the voice of that object. Great fun activity! I have the students write their good copies on chart paper and present to the class, and the class guesses what object is being described in each personification poem!
