These Perspective Taking "Think and Chat" cards are designed to foster conversations about emotions, behavior, social skills and taking other people's perspective.
This set includes 25 different "Think and Chat" cards. Each large card includes a real photo for visual support.
Sample Perspective Taking Scenarios:
"Jayden didn’t realize he had a hole in his shorts when he
got dressed for school. When he got to school all of the kids were pointing and laughing at him. How do you think that made Jayden feel? What could you do to change that?"
"Billy and Mason were playing basketball on the blacktop. They noticed Greg really didn’t have anybody to play with, so they asked him to join in their game. How do you think Greg felt when Billy and Mason invited him to play?"
" Kaiya and her family are vegetarians. That means they only
eat fruits and vegetables. Every day at lunch, as she sits down
to eat, Jacob points to her food and says, “Ewww. Gross.
That’s disgusting.” How do you think Jacob makes Kaiya feel?"
These Perspective Taking "Think and Chat" cards work well in social skills groups, speech groups and small group discussions.
