PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

These slides read like a children's book and the story teaches students how to use persuasion techniques within their writing. I gave the students a handout to go along with the story to keep in their notebooks.(This may also be purchased) After reading the story they could remember the acronym CURBELT and remember good techniques for persuasive writing. C-claim, U-urgency, R-research, B-big names, E-emotions, L-logic, and T-trust. The 7 monsters each do their "role" and are convincing the reader on why monsters should be able to move to America. The students loved this creative story.
