This is a mini free writing unit for persuasive letter writing. This goes with the story Dear Mrs. LaRue Letters from Obedience School by Mark Teague . In this unit you can read the story and do reflection questions. Then, have the students write as if they were the dog talking to Mrs. LaRue You will get hilarious and well thought out ideas, I promise!!
