This is a mini writing unit for persuasive letter writing. This goes with the story The Day the Crayons Quit by Oliver Jeffers. In this unit you can read the story and do reflection questions. Then, have the students write as if they were a crayon asking Duncan for something. You will get hilarious and well thought out ideas, I promise!!
In this unit:
-4 Persuasive Writing Anchor Charts
-Anchor Charts for the Notebooks
-The Day the Crayons Came Home reflection questions for after reading
-Rough Draft Sheet
-Final Copy Writing Sheet
