    Introductory PPT & notes (1-2 lessons)

    This PowerPoint will introduce students to ten Persuasive Techniques, using examples and short activities. Some slides present as “quiz” style, and answers appear on a click. This PPT also links to three kid-friendly commercials on YouTube.

    Commercial Project (2-3 lessons)

    Students will create a commercial as a group project to illustrate their understanding of two persuasive techniques. They will choose one product to sell, show understanding of a target audience, and analyze the use of the techniques in their commercial.
