Persuasive Techniques and Media Literacy Terms Review Game

This Jeopardy®-style review game will help students review persuasive techniques and media literacy terms. This is a great unit review for your persuasive techniques and propaganda unit or a quick introduction to an argumentative writing unit.

Your media literacy review includes:

✅ Variety of questions to engage all students

✅ Pictures and slogans 

✅ Song lyrics and buzzwords

Make sure to preview the PPT to understand how the clicking works. Every slide links back to the main grid, and when you choose a new question, you click through each element of the slide as to not reveal the answer too early.

Can I use this persuasive techniques review with older students?

Sure! The content will be much easier for them, but there's no reason why they wouldn't benefit from the review.

Can I use this media literacy activity with younger students?

I do not recommend it. The wording and the scope of the techniques are both more suited to older students.

(Sex Appeal/Beautiful People has been omitted from this review)
