Can I use this persuasive techniques review with older students?
Sure! The content will be much easier for them, but there's no reason why they wouldn't benefit from the review.
Can I use this media literacy activity with younger students?
I do not recommend it. The wording and the scope of the techniques are both more suited to older students.
What persuasive techniques and media literacy terms are covered?
This resource is editable! The "default" questions and answers cover the following terms: Bandwagon, Card-Stacking, Connotation/Word Choice, Endorsement/Testimonial, Exaggeration, Euphemism, Fear, Glittering Generalities, Name-Calling, Plain Folks Appeal, Repetition, Rhetorical Questions, Scientific Approach, Snob Appeal, Something for Nothing, Transfer, Urgency/Call to Action.
