Persuasive Writing Create Own Hit Movie Idea. This zipped file will get your students excited about persuasive writing by having them create a new idea for a hit movie.

Congratulations! You have just been asked by Hollywood to help come up with an idea for a new movie. You have some hard work ahead of you! Below is your “To Do” list:
- Plot: The first thing you will need to do is think of what the new movie will be about. Think of a creative, funny, serious, etc. focus for your new movie.
- Name: Hollywood will also be waiting to hear what the new name for your movie idea will be. Come up with a creative name.
- Ticket Stub: Okay, so you’ve decided on the plot and name for your movie idea, now all you need to do is design a ticket stub.
- Persuasive Letter: After you have designed your ticket stub, you will be asked to submit a letter to the committee to try to convince/persuade them to accept your idea. Please refer to the example and template for specific guidelines on how to write your persuasive letter.
