Product Description
Persuasive Writing: Use this Concept Poster Organizer while also enjoying some Oreo cookies®.

This is a persuasive writing organizer that can be used to introduce or review persuasive writing to your students. Yes, I usually bring my students some yummy cookies! :-)

The lesson activity uses an Oreo® cookie to help kids remember the parts to a basic persuasive paragraph. The steps on the poster help the students choose a topic, formulate an opinion (O), state reasons (R), give evidence or elaboration (E), as well as restate their opinion (O).

The sheet takes students through the definition, examples of different types of persuasive writing, examples of topics to write about, and then takes them through the different parts of persuasive writing. You will probably want to complete sections A and B together as a class and discuss, and then students can work on their individual topic.

** note....I do my best to look over my work. Most of the time two people check it. With that said, small typos can be missed from time to time. Please just send me a message and allow me to correct it before you rate the product. I can get it fixed in a jiffy. :-) Thank you ahead of tome**

If you have any questions, I thank you for sending me a Q and A before you buy. I can usually get them answered quickly.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Please know BEFORE you buy that I work to get a lot of information onto one piece of paper. This is a huge help when it comes to copies. The spacing and lines I include on the page are fine for the average writer in upper elementary, but if you have kids that write huge, then they may need additional space. :-)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

As an extension of this concept poster organizer activity, you can have the students take the information and transfer it to a piece of notebook paper to write a completed persuasive paragraph.
