Congratulations! You have just been told that you will host the last four teams for the college basketball tournament. Of course now, believe or not, the easy part is over! You still have some hard work ahead of you! Below is a “To Do” list:
-Basketball Theme: The world is waiting to know what you will name the championship for the last four teams in the college basketball tournament. This is a very important marketing deal.
-Championship Round Colors: Now you will need to design and market a new logo for the championship basketball tournament. This part must be researched well, as it will become a major part of your letter to the committee.
-Ticket Stub: Okay, so you’ve decided on a theme and come up with some colors, now all you need to do is design a ticket stub that you will be provided with.
-Persuasive Letter: After you have designed your theme and ticket stub, you will be asked to submit a letter to the committee to try to convince/persuade them to accept your idea. Please refer to the example and template for specific guidelines on how to write your persuasive letter.

Included with the 17 writing activities are:

-4-page Teacher handout (cover page, teacher tips, persuasive writing template, and an example of a persuasive letter)
