This expository/persuasive graphic organizer allows students to visually understand the structure of a basic five paragraph paper. Each page becomes a paragraph! Each box prompts students so even your most reluctant writer can formulate a solid paper. Includes:
*prompts at the bottom of the page for attention getters and clinchers,
* basic transition word prompts
*reminders to include details, similes, metaphors, onomotopoeia where appropriate
A handy rubric for grading is also included. I've had students use the rubric so they can check their own work to make sure they're included all necessary components. After all of my years of teaching writing, this is the most solid, organized graphic organizer that I've found to be most successful.
