What is she doing in there all day? This lesson begins with your learners listening to a story about Peter and his wife that explains why she is in these. It includes questioning for carrying out a conversation about Peter and his wife. After discussing what she does inside the pumpkin shell all day, your learners will draw and tell/write about their idea. When the writer presents their ideas to the class, their peers will ask questions to get more information and the writer may choose to add more details to their picture or words to make their idea more clear.
Kids will love the chance to be creative and you will get some good giggles with the kids' ideas!
Addressed Speaking and Listening standards 1,2,3,5 and 6
This activity goes wonderfully with your pumpkin theme this fall!
