Teachers can print out on card stock, glue words on small rectangles to clothespins, and have students read, sort and attached to big animal cards.
Great for developing literacy, fine motor skills!
You can differentiate by offering words in color for easier visual discrimination, or in black if you want to make this game more challenging.
Sneak in some math practice by asking students what shape they are attaching their pins on. (There are different shapes for each rhyme card.)
You can have pairs of students work together to complete the game.
