THIS PRODUCT IS PART OF MY PHASES OF THE MOON BUNDLE
- Please check out that bundle prior to purchasing this product individually!
This product contains reference sheets and differentiated flash cards for 16 vocabulary words based off of the Phases of the Moon!
Those words are: moon, phase, crescent, gibbous, waxing, waning, spring tides, neap tides, new moon, waxing crescent, first quarter, waxing gibbous, full moon, waning gibbous, third quarter, waning crescent
(The 8 phases + other important vocabulary words that aid in understanding the phases!!)
The two reference sheets contain the definitions for all 16 vocabulary words, as well as pictures when applicable. For example, with the definition of “crescent,” there are examples of a waning and waxing crescent in picture form in the corresponding column.
This can be given to students as a reference to complete the flash cards that are also included in this product, or as a study guide to assist students in preparation for quizzes and tests.
The flash cards are included in various versions to fit the needs of your students and allow for differentiation within the classroom during class time and studying! Each group of 8 terms has a select number of variations broken down for you in the charts below.
To print these cards correctly, make sure you are printing double-sided and that you have them fitted to the page! Then students just need to cut on the dotted lines!
For moon, phase, crescent, gibbous, waxing, waning, spring tides, neap tides, there are 5 differentiated options to choose from.
For new moon, waxing crescent, first quarter, waxing gibbous, full moon, waning gibbous, third quarter, waning crescent, there are 6 differentiated options to choose from.
Samples of the different flash cards options as well as the reference sheets can be seen in the preview!
Everything is numbered for easy reference! Also, if you had simply wanted the back sides of the cards to be blank, just print vocabulary word pages single-sided (which are the actual dotted cut-out cards with the vocabulary words on them)!!
