PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This is a Philosophy for Children lesson that acts as an introduction to the fundamentals of argument. This includes deconstructions arguments into the logical structures of proposition > premises > conclusion.
Being able to make and challenge logical arguments is an important skill and will be necessary in all Philosophy for Children sessions. This lesson will introduce those basic principles that will serve students well throughout Philosophy.

This lesson can be adapted to suit students Years 3-9. Students younger than Year 3 may find some of the technical terms hard to make sense of. While students older than Year 9 may find a whole lesson on basic principles of argumentation unproductive.
