Overview:

Get your students blending phonemes with this fun and engaging game! Students will have so much fun that they won't even realize they're learning and practicing important phonemic awareness skills! This will make a perfect addition to your literacy centers or small group interventions!

What's Included?:

  • Calling Cards
  • Six playing cards in two different options, black and white or color

*Please note, this game is intended for small groups so 6 cards are included.

How To Use:

  • Choose the version you want, color or black and white, and print. I would recommend laminating the cards too.
  • Print the calling cards and cut them out. You can also laminate these too.
  • Give each student a playing card. There are six included so these are perfect for a small group intervention or during centers.
  • You will call each word by segmenting it, as it is printed on the calling card. Students will blend the word and cover it.
  • The first student who calls out “blend-o!” with 5 in a row wins!
