This is a set of 32 picture cards. Students say the name of the picture shown on each card and count the sounds they hear in the word. They then put a clothespin on the number that shows how many sounds. This set includes words with 2,3,4 and 5 phonemes (eight cards for each phoneme set). A cover page/instruction page is included (I create my games in laminated craft envelopes) but an answer key is not included. I usually just put a dot or small sticker on the back of the card to indicate the correct answer. That way, students can just clip and flip. If the clothespin is aligned with the sticker, the answer is correct. These cards work well for independent practice, reading center as well as for small groups.
