Description

This structured literacy, phoneme grapheme mapping resource can be used in TWO ways: as phonemic awareness manipulation exercises (no letters) AND as phonic word chaining spelling activities. With over 100 sets of word chains, you will have everything at your fingertips to dictate words to your students for adding, deleting, and substituting!

The science of reading tells us that these higher-level PA exercises are what our students need for automatic word reading! So, try out these word chains that change by one phoneme at a time. Your students will learn to add, delete, and change phonemes from word to word.

There are word chains for 3 phoneme words and then separate lists for 4 phoneme words (broken down into beginning blends and ending blends). No more trying to think of word chains on the spot. This resource has it all!
