These Phoneme Segmentation Clothespin Cards are great for centers or your small group instruction.
Simply print, cut and laminate the cards for durability. Have your students look at the picture on the left and decide how many sounds are in the word. Then have them either put a clothespin or a paper clip on the correct spot.
Or print the cards on cardstock and place in a protective sleeve and have your students mark an X on the number of sounds using an EXPO marker. I've included a picture of how I use them in my classroom in the thumbnails.
