Differentiate to meet the needs of your students.
Cut apart the sound boxes and picture cards. Laminate for durability. Then let the students sort the picture cards according to how many sounds they hear.
Write the room
Put the picture cards around the room. Let the students use the “____ sounds” answer page to write the number of sounds they hear in the words as they find them.
Cut and glue
Have the students cut apart the pictures on the ½ sheet of paper and then glue the cards onto the sorting chart.
