Perfect for Intervention and RTI groups! Simply print the cards, which cover 16 different skills, and place them on a ring, and you are ready to start.

All your Phonemic Word Lists questions answered!

✅How do I use these cards?

Simply print the cards, which cover 16 different skills, and place them on a ring, and you are ready to start. Place the rings of cards around your classroom for easy access.

✅How can I teach phonemic awareness when I only have a few minutes each day?

The word list cards are perfect for those times when you have a few minutes to fill. Use them when waiting in lines for lunch, recess or before leaving for specials. Use them to dismiss students - they have to give a rhyming word or blend a word you segment before they can go. There are so many ways to sneak in additional practice. They are also perfect to use during directed instruction at the guided reading table or during shared reading for a warm-up.

✅Why are these the word lists I need?

They will make your instruction EASIER! Determine the skill you want to work on and grab that ring, and you are equipped with a ready-to-use list of words to use for that skill.

✅But wait, what about other adults who support my students? Can they use them?

YES!!! All instructions are included right on the cards, which makes them perfect for volunteers and parents. Each skill has enough words on the cards to be used with a whole class without giving students the same words. Skills such as Sound Segmenting and Sound Blending have many cards (many with a theme) to provide lots of practice without reusing word lists.
